Criminal Justice Associate of Arts Degree Requirements


The Associate of Arts degree is for students who plan to complete their first two years of a bachelor’s degree before transferring to a four-year institution. Written Communication


And choose one of the following:


Total: 6 hours


NOTE: These courses meet UNL’s Criminology & Criminal Justice program ACE 1 requirement.

Total: 3 hours


NOTE: UNL’s Criminology & Criminal Justice program requires one of the courses to fulfill the ACE 2 requirement.

Total: 3 hours


NOTE: UNL’s Criminology & Criminal Justice program requires MATH 2170  or BSAD 2170  to fulfill the statistics requirement as an ACE 3. 

Total: 7 hours


NOTES:
* Denotes a course qualifying as an ACE 4 requirement for UNL’s Criminology & Criminal Justice program.

Cannot receive credit for both CHEM 1050  and CHEM 1090 .

Cannot receive credit for more than one of these: PHYS 1150 , PHYS 1410  and PHYS 2110 .

Some four-year schools require science courses to be taken from two different disciplines.

Humanities


NOTES: Choose at least one course from ACE 5 and ACE 7. UNL’s Criminology & Criminal Justice program requires the completion of a 1020 level course in a foreign language in order to meet the foreign language admission requirement (unless you completed 2 years in high school).

NOTE: UNL’s Criminology & Criminal Justice program requires the completion of a 1020 level course in a foreign language in order to meet UNL’s foreign language admission requirement - unless you have completed two years of high school foreign language. If taken in high school then choose another course from group 1 or 2.

  • xxxx 1010 - Beginning Language I Credits: 5 (Chinese, German, Spanish, or Sign)
  • xxxx 1020 - Beginning Language II Credits: 5 (Chinese, German, Spanish, or Sign)
