Program Overview:
The associate of sciences degree allows students to earn an Associate of Sciences degree that has a wide applicability to healthcare fields and prepares students for a number of educational opportunities beyond that degree. This degree may apply towards a specific health profession program at SCC or transfer towards a health-related program at another college or university. The Associate of Science in Health Sciences supports degree work that can be accomplished during the time a student may be waiting for admission to a specific program.
Professions a student can complete supporting coursework include, but are not limited to:

- Pre-Dental (Assisting/Hygiene/Dentistry)

Students are encouraged to meet with an SCC advisor as well as with an advisor at the college or university to which they plan to transfer to determine the courses that will meet the requirements for their field of study.
