LTCA 1080 - Gerontology This course is an introduction to the study of aging and explores different aspects of aging including social, physiological, cognitive and psychological, sensory and functional changes. It also examines issues of importance to older persons including pharmacology, nutrition, health and health literacy, sexuality, housing and policy issues. Demographic trends and changes in society resulting from an aging population are also discussed.
