Program Overview
This program is located on the Milford Campus.
Our hands-on Concrete Construction Technician program provides comprehensive training in the concrete construction field. You will study everything from project site preparation and safety, the concrete forming, placing and finishing operations for vertical and horizontal concrete construction as well as mix design and trouble shooting. You will also gain drafting and estimating skills.
You will participate in program activities and projects affiliated with the American Concrete Institute, Nebraska Concrete and Aggregate Association, National Association of Home Builders and the Associated General Contractors professional groups. This includes putting your education to work as you place concrete in variety of conditions and sites with your fellow students. Students will be performing live Concrete Construction tasks throughout the year in the community allowing them experience working with a wide array of variables. This experience provides real-world industry exposure which helps you develop the necessary leadership skills important for a successful career.
