Global Studies Certificate

This certificate is a unique opportunity to begin a journey of global exploration that is not often found at a 2-year institution. Gaining an international perspective can increase your desirability to a variety of employers and will complement several academic fields, all of which can benefit from an increase in cross-cultural skills.

Career Information

This interdisciplinary certificate is designed to foster the development of a productive, global citizen in the community, nation, or the world. This includes any profession which would benefit from a global perspective, such as business, government, international trade, international banking and economics, diplomacy, non-profits, international security, travel, and tourism, or any company with a global presence.

We encourage you to put your Global Studies skills and certificate into action in either a Study Abroad opportunity or a Global Studies Internship.

Students can also add to their global repertoire by pursuing further credentials in our Student World Denizen Program
