Mathematics/Logic 3.0 Credits
Natural Science with Lab
Take two of the following, including one lab course (4.0 or 5.0 hrs): Total: 7 hours
NOTES: Cannot receive credit for CHEM 1050 and CHEM 1090 .
Credit cannot be received for more than one of these: PHYS 1150 , PHYS 1410 and PHYS 2110 .

Humanities requirements vary depending on your intended transfer institution and major. It is recommended you check with an SCC advisor to help you select your Humanities courses. For the AA degree, choose 3 courses from 3 different groups. Group 1: Literature/Journalism/Philosophy:

- 1010 - Beginning Language I Credits: 5 (Chinese, German or Spanish)
- 1020 - Beginning Language II Credits: 5 (Chinese, German or Spanish)
- 2010 - Second Year Language I Credits: 3 (Chinese, German or Spanish)
- 2020 - Second Year Language II Credits: 3 (Chinese, German or Spanish)
- 2100 - Accelerated Language Credits: 6 (German or Spanish)
Group 4:
Take an additional class from Group 1, 2, or 3 Social Sciences
Choose three courses based on transfer college’s requirements: Economics/Political Science (Take Both)
Anthropology/Psychology/Sociology:
Culture & Gender Studies
Take one: Electives
