MEDT 1110 - Advanced Phlebotomy

An advanced curriculum following Procedures in Phlebotomy. Further emphasis on the skills and safety procedures required to successfully perform blood collection techniques. Sample processing, waived laboratory testing, advanced sample collection requirements, introduction to requisitions, and basic medical terminology included. Supervised instruction and experience in collection techniques in the laboratory.
