ECED 1475 - Professional In-Home Care Skills and requirements specifically for the person working in a home setting as a professional nanny or a family child care provider. Discussion of business plans, development of a parent handbook, selection of employment agencies, contract negotiations and interviewing of prospective clients and employers. Activity planning and scheduling for children of diverse ages and abilities. This course is a prerequisite for ECED 2900 internship, ECED 2901 Child Care Head Teacher Cooperative Experience, and ECED 2902 Cooperative Experience, completion in an in-home child care or nanny setting.
