Dietary Manager graduates manage foodservice operations and ensure food safety in non-commercial organizations such as hospitals, schools, long-term care, and correctional facilities.
Program Overview
This program is offered fully online and accepts new students each term. It is designed to prepare students for management of Food and Nutrition Services departments in non-commercial foodservice operations.
This program has been granted approval from the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals (ANFP), 406 Surry Woods Drive, St. Charles, IL. 60174, 800-323-1908 (www.ANFPonline.org). Students are eligible for ANFP Pre-Professional membership; graduates are eligible for the Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional Credentialing Exam, and ANFP Professional Memberships. The CDM®, CFPP® credential meets the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations requirement for directors of food and nutrition services at Long-Term Care Facilities.

Special Program Requirement
A grade of “C” or higher is required for all Dietary Manager Courses to graduate from this program.
