HCMG 1600 - Health Information Management

This course introduces the health information management and healthcare delivery systems. Topics include information management policy and procedure, healthcare settings, the patient record, electronic health records (EHRs), telemedicine, data collection standards, legal aspects of health information, coding, and reimbursement. Students will explore current and emerging trends and developments in health information management.
