GLST 1000 - Introduction to Global Studies This Global Studies Course is an interdisciplinary course, in which students will study and analyze the complexity and variety of our world’s societies and common features of the changing human and natural environments. The course will focus on basic questions such as the connectivity of human populations and their activities across time and space, the dynamics of conflict in different regions, and how local issues or regional developments have profound impacts on people across the globe. This course will offer students basic knowledge in a wide variety of fields such as anthropology, economics, environmental studies, geography, history, literature, political science, religious studies, and social sciences.
