DENT 1116 - Dental Procedures

This course covers lab and clinical competencies that are essential dental assisting skills. These functions include patient care operatory preparation, occupational exposure protocol techniques, chairside skills, vitals and patient documentation, instrument identification and exchange, medical emergencies and preparation and practice of operative dental procedures with the manipulation of various types of dental materials utilized in the procedures.
