Focus is on utilizing the nursing process as a problem-solving tool while assisting older adults adapt to stress related to acute, chronic, and terminal illness. Identify aging changes in the clinical setting. Apply gerontological and rehabilitative principles while caring for aging adults. Identify aging adults’ unique needs.
