Associate Degree Nursing

Beatrice and Lincoln Campuses

Types of Jobs Available

Associate degree nursing graduates, when licensed as registered nurses, work in a variety of settings, including acute care, surgery centers, clinics, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, and home health care.

Graduation meets one eligibility requirement for application to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). Graduates must pass the NCLEX-RN to obtain a license as a Registered Nurse. Program graduates work in small and large healthcare facilities throughout Nebraska and the United States. Many graduates have continued their education and are on the way to earning a bachelor or master degree.
