Program Overview
If your ultimate goal is to become a teacher within Agriculture Education, then the Agricultural Teacher Education program is a great place to start your path to possible. This program provides students an opportunity to transfer on to a four-year institution to earn their bachelor’s degree. Students will experience quality hands-on learning within academic areas of agriculture, including agribusiness; animal science; agronomy; horticulture; precision agriculture and welding.
Agricultural education is designed for students who wish to begin the course work and requirements to teach agriculture in a public school setting or work in other areas where education and teaching are integral (i.e., extension, agribusiness, etc.).
