This degree can be used for seeking immediate employment in the Human Services field. Graduates can continue their education at four-year colleges and universities in Human Services, Human Relations, Behavioral Services, or Social Work. Students can enter every semester and may be a full- or part-time student. Students may earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Human Services, a certificate in Alcohol & Drug Counseling, or a certificate in Peer Support.

This program is located on the Lincoln Campus, though practicum placements for students are available in a variety of locations.

For Students Interested in Pursuing Alcohol & Drug (A & D) Counseling
A minimum of 300 practicum hours with a LADC counselor that include at least 10 hours in each of the 12 core competencies/functions. Hours supervised at 1:10 ratio by supervisor.

- Specific levels of Reading, and Writing Placement Scores (ENGL0995).
- Transcripts from high school, GED® or other colleges (if applicable)
