OTAS 1300 - Foundational Skills for the Occupational Therapy Assistant

This lab course introduces essential skills for occupational therapy assistants, including safety, infection control, vital signs, patient handling, and foundational treatment techniques. Students will also practice the application of adaptive equipment (AE) and develop documentation skills. Emphasis is placed on building competency in core skills necessary for effective clinical practice.
