NURS 1510 - Essentials of Patient Care 2

This course builds upon knowledge introduced in Essentials of Patient Care 1. Emphasis is placed on the integration of physiological and pharmacologic principles in the management of stable clients with acute conditions. Students will analyze more complex pathophysiology, pharmacology, and nursing interventions with a focus on understanding disease processes and the rationale for interventions. Students will integrate clinical judgment and decision-making and evidence-based methods to deliver effective care to clients experiencing stable acute conditions.
