NURS 1150 - Nursing Lab 1 This nursing lab course introduces students to foundational nursing skills and clinical reasoning essential for safe and effective practice. Through guided hand-on experiences, students begin applying knowledge of anatomy and physiology to nursing care, including physical assessment, medication administration, and basic therapeutic interventions. Core concepts such as the healing process, chronic illness, safety, and infection control are established. Emphasis is placed on the development of psychomotor skills, communication, and professionalism in preparation for clinical practice.
