DENT 1117 - Basic Principles and Techniques

This course covers basic competencies learned as a dental assistant: PPE, hand hygiene, universal precautions, preparation and decontamination of a dental treatment area, patient care, equipment and instrument identification, high velocity evacuation, four-handed instrument exchange, occupational exposure protocol techniques, vitals and patient documentation, and other various skills.
