PHRM 1010 - Pharmacology Basics 1

This course introduces students to the general principles of pharmacology and sufficient background information so they will be able to play a key role in avoiding dispensing errors. Drugs are explored in the context of classes, mechanicism of action, disease types, and body systems. An emphasis is placed on the top 200 drugs most commonly prescribed drugs but many more drugs will be discussed.
