Introduction of hematological principles of surgery and disorders of hemostasis and coagulation; physiological chemistry including: electrolytes, fluid, and shock; pharmacology and anesthesia. Analyze infection control in the perioperative and assess the clinical signs of the surgical site infections including wound management.
