PHRM 1130 - Operations for Pharmacy Technicians The focus of this course is to teach students skills performed in institutional and community settings. The main objective is to provide the students with a practical experience in the duties performed by a pharmacy technician in a variety of settings. This is a hands-on laboratory course. Topics of study will include reviewing and processing prescriptions, application of rules and regulations, institutional pharmacy, nonsterile compounding, and aseptic technique.
